Designed for teenagers aged 14 to 17 years old, our program offers an immersive experience blending English language practice with unforgettable adventures in the vibrant city of New York.
Comprehensive Camp Package
The summer camp includes fluency-focused English sessions, a full schedule of supervised activities and excursions in the afternoon and the evening, full board accommodation in a residence in the heart of Brooklyn Heights, as well as an unlimited subway pass.
Fully Immersive Language Experience
Go beyond traditional settings and practice your English in iconic spots across the city to maximize your NYC adventure. Sessions incorporate city excursions and focus on NYC topics and themes like art, history, architecture, immigration, and more. This hands-on approach to language practice is the best way to improve your fluency while exploring the city!
Small Group Settings
English sessions are kept small with a max. of 8 people, grouped together according to level, and allow for plenty of opportunities to practice your English. These topic-driven language sessions focus on speaking, improving fluency, and building confidence so that you can see meaningful language progress even after just 2 weeks!
Weekly activity program
Our weekly activity program includes five half-day excursions and one full-day adventure, alternating between fun and educational outings. Designed to include the best of New York City, authentic American experiences, various activities, and the typical NYC summer vibe!
Morning English classes
The city becomes the students' classroom! Our classes take place in public places throughout the city: in Dumbo (Brooklyn), Essex Market (Lower East Side), Brookfield Place (Battery Park), Industry City (Brooklyn) and Bryant Park (Midtown) to name a few. The locations have been chosen based on comfort, accessibility, points of interest close by, proximity of restrooms...
Our classes are rich in cultural content and conversation. There is no book and we focus on fluency and speaking/communication, with the added bonus of learning in truly authentic settings. Students also go on class excursions three times a week for a fully immersive experience. Our teachers are qualified, experienced, and use an action-based, communicative method.
Supervision
The teen program is fully supervised and all activities are compulsory. Chaperones and residence managers ensure student safety at all times. Students are not allowed out unaccompanied outside of scheduled activities without parental permission.
Accommodation & Meals
Students stay in our student residence in Brooklyn Heights in en-suite triple rooms. Students are placed with other students of the same gender and different nationality. Each room has desks, chairs, a fridge, microwave and a TV. Internet is available, as well as a laundry room, and 24 hour security. Bed linen is provided but students must bring their own towels.
The accommodation is full board: breakfast and dinner at the Park Plaza Diner a few minutes’ walk away, and lunches are light packed lunches or pizza on location twice a week.
