Privacy Policy
What this site collects, why, and how you can control it. Last updated 19 October 2026.
This policy covers internationalcamp.eu only. It doesn't cover kiday.eu, kidscoach.cz, the kiDay Foundation, Young Travel Concierge, or WhatsApp — each has its own policy.
Who is responsible for this site
This website is operated by CK Hanka s.r.o., trading as kiDay (company ID 62914367), U nových domů I 524/3, Krč, 140 00 Praha, Czech Republic, which is responsible for your personal data. For any question about this policy or your data, contact hello@kiday.eu.
What data this site collects
When you send an enquiry. The short form on each program page asks for your name, your email, your child's age, and an optional message. We use this only to answer your enquiry and suggest suitable programs. Your child's age is asked so we can check which programs fit — please don't include sensitive details such as health information in the message; if a program needs that, we'll ask separately and explain why.
When you message us on WhatsApp. The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a pre-written message. Nothing is sent until you press send, and the conversation then runs through WhatsApp (Meta), under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Analytics. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 loads and collects standard usage data: which pages you visit, how you arrived here, roughly where you're located (derived from IP address, which is not stored in full), device and browser type, and how long you spend on a page. It does not collect your name, email, or anything you type into the enquiry form.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to identify visitors.
Fonts and images on this site are served from our own server, so simply reading the site sends nothing to third parties.
Cookies used on this site
- ic_cookie_consent (stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie in the strict sense) — remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again. Kept until you clear your browser data or change your choice. Always active; this is what lets the site respect your decision.
- _ga, _ga_DFRW7R7789 (set by Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies) — used to distinguish visitors and sessions. Typically expire after 13 months. See Google's cookie documentation for the current list.
Legal basis and your choice
We process enquiry details because you ask us to — to answer your question and take the steps you request before any booking. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which you give or refuse through the cookie banner on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Refusing analytics doesn't limit anything on this site.
Where data goes
Enquiries are emailed directly to our own mailbox at hello@kiday.eu. We don't sell or rent your details, and we don't pass your enquiry to any camp or program without telling you first. If you decide to book, we share with that program's organiser only what's needed to arrange your child's place.
Google Analytics data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and, depending on Google's own infrastructure, may be processed in the United States. Google states that these transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's Privacy Policy.
How long data is kept
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. If you book, we keep what's needed to arrange the program and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for the retention period set in this site's account (Google Analytics 4 offers 2 or 14 months for user-level and event-level data). Aggregated, non-identifying reports may be kept longer.
Your rights under GDPR
If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already happened before withdrawal
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů)
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@kiday.eu. For data already sent to Google Analytics, you can also use Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Children's privacy
This site lists programs for children and teens aged 6–18, but it is written for parents and guardians, who make enquiries on their child's behalf. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through this site.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will change accordingly.
