Overview

Nike Football Camps are led by UEFA-licensed coaches with experience at academy and professional level. Players train twice a day in small, position-specific groups: the morning session is more technical, the evening session focuses on tactics and match play. Work covers technical skills, tactical understanding across different phases of play, match situations and athlete development, with fitness and conditioning drills for footwork, balance and speed on the ball.

The camp is open to boys aged 10–17 of all abilities and runs on Radley College's grass pitches near Oxford. Every week ends with a tournament day and an awards ceremony, and each player takes home an individual coaching report and certificate.

It's a separate programme from the Chelsea FC camps — no Chelsea coaching, Cobham day or Stamford Bridge tour — and costs less. Players train, live and compete alongside footballers from around the world, with around 30% of campers native English speakers.

At Radley every camper has a single bedroom, with shared bathrooms; rooms are allocated by sport, age, gender and room-share requests. On site: a hybrid astro hockey pitch plus two more pitches, Poraflex acrylic tennis courts, a full-size indoor basketball court, a players' lounge, free Wi-Fi and laundry; the athletics track, 25 m pool and indoor sports centre can be used when available.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the Chelsea FC camps?

It's run by the same operator at the same standard of welfare and accommodation, but coached by UEFA-licensed coaches rather than Chelsea FC's team, and without the Chelsea extras (Talent ID Day at Cobham, Stamford Bridge tour, Chelsea kit). It's open to all abilities aged 10–17 and costs £1,895 a week instead of £2,350.

Can my child stay for two weeks?

Yes. Each camp week is 6 nights, arriving on a Monday and leaving on the Sunday, and any two consecutive weeks can be combined into a 13-night stay — campers stay on site over the middle weekend. The 2-week price is £3,790.

What's the difference between Total Football and Football + English?

The coaching is identical — up to 24 hours a week either way. Total Football adds up to 8 hours a week of sport workshops (things like nutrition, teamwork, goal-setting and match analysis); Football + English swaps those for up to 13 hours of English lessons built around the sport. If your child's English is still basic, the English option is the one we'd suggest.

How do we get there?

Fly into London Heathrow or Gatwick. The camp runs shared airport transfers on arrival and departure days as an optional extra — £140 on the 2027 price list, or £170 with the unaccompanied-minor service, booked after registration. Flights aren't included.

Who looks after the kids?

Welfare staff are on site 24/7 alongside the coaches, there's on-site medical care, and travel insurance is included in the price.

Can they get one-to-one coaching?

Yes — optional 1-to-1 Pro Sessions with a camp coach can be added for £195 each (2027 price). Places are limited, so it's worth asking early.
